Attention! A new Pasta-de-Waraku style shop hits our shore! The latest offspring of Sakae. Located at the new extension right outside Tiong Bahru Plaza, beside Donut Factory.
A friend of mine had the craving to try out this pasta place for the past fortnight. So, she finally decided to check this place during lunch today. And we followed.
Value for money lunch set @ $13.95 which comes with a soup/salad, pasta from a selection and a drink.
Menu – I enjoy looking through it. All the dishes are so beautifully taken! Visually appetising!
Pastas – A localised twist. Refreshing!
The way the coffee was presented gave us a surprise! Unique.
The taste of this sauce is similar to the Taiwanese soy minced pork rice. Tasty!
Their version of wafuu sauce.
This customised vegetarian pasta looked very yummy! lots of asparagus, long beans, tomatoes and avacado!
Soup version of marinara w cream base. My fave sauce among all we had ordered. Perfect to dip with bread!
My order. Chilli Soft-shell Crab Pasta. Served with one full crab. Generous! The sauce tasted so much like our famous Chill Crab!!!
To create a successful first WOW for any customers for any new restaurant; to ensure a customer will return with friends for another dining experience, it is not as easy as ABC.
Competition in food industry is a stiff business here. cos as consumers, we are constantly looking out for new and refreshing experiences. This concept of Sakae has successfully impressed us. However, how long will this fever last? Time will tell.
